Cassina Sales Area Manager - Lombardy

The Cassina Sales Area Manager Lombardy will be responsible for supporting and developing in coordination with the sales agent the Cassina retail and A&D network, reporting directly to the Sales Director Italy and France.
He/She will initiate, develop, build and optimize the presentation and turnover of the Cassina collections Living, Dining, Sleeping, Outdoor and Pro in a strategical and structural way within the Cassina retail network, opening  and renewing branded spaces (shop in shop) as well as managing promotions or other sales activities within the Region.
The appointed candidate will also represent Cassina at International trade fairs (IMM, Orgatec, Salone del Mobile) as well as at local events.

Main Activities
  • Daily support to the selected retail and A&D partners in Lombardy, in collaboration with the agent and Customer Service based in Meda HQ;
  • Developing A&D channel in the Region;
  • Reaching the yearly business plan revenues and profitability targets;
  • Optimizing Cassina’s geographic presence, opening - when necessary - new partners;
  • Guarantee excellent product displays in partners’ showroom, in line with the Visual Merchandising Guidelines issued by Cassina;
  • Introducing new product ranges to existing clients;
  • Training partners’ sales force and A&D;
  • Accompanying partners during their visits to the main architects and interior designers in the Region;
  • Responsible to service a network of selected Contract Dealers.

Requested profile
  • Service minded and high level of responsibility to ensure customer loyalty;
  • Commercially strong with a clear focus to achieve targets and identify business opportunities, such as developing new business relationships with dealers, A&D as well as Corporate clients;
  • Cooperative:
    • Exchange and create synergy with colleagues on hospitality and soft contract projects;
    • Develop and maintain a reliable sales forecast to enable Cassina management to plan all operations professionally;
    • Maintain and update visit reports, client contact database and project list (Microsoft Dynamics CRM).
Experience and Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Industrial Design or similar academic background;
  • Design & Cultural savvy;
  • Several years of sales experience in the high-end furniture retail/contract business;
  • Proven Sales background of at least 5-7 years achieving measurable sales goals.

Technical and Soft skills
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • Fluent in English;
  • Excellent communication and sales skills;
  • Self-motivated;
  • Love and passion for high-end design;
  • Organizational & problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize daily activity;
  • Oriented and proactive approach to achieving goals;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
