Cassina Sales Area Manager - Switzerland

Responsibilities

The Cassina Sales Area Manager Switzerland will be responsible for supporting and developing the Cassina retail network and will directly report to the Sales Director DACH & CEE.

He/She will initiates, develops, builds and optimize the presentation and turnover of the Cassina collections: Living, Dining, Sleeping and Outdoor in a strategical and structural way within the Cassina retail network, opening of branded spaces (shop in shop) as well as managing promotions or other sales activities are important duties.

The appointed candidate will represent Cassina at trade fairs (IMM, Orgatec, Salone del Mobile) and events.

 

Main Activities

  • Daily support for selected retail partners of Cassina in Switzerland, in collaboration with the Customer Service based in Italy;
  • Reaching the yearly and business plan revenues and profitability targets for the Country;
  • Optimizing the Cassina's geographic presence, opening - when necessary - new partners;
  • Guarantee excellent product displays at the partners showroom, in line with the Visual Merchandising Guidelines issued by Cassina;
  • Introducing new product ranges to existing clients and-or open new distribution channels per collection;
  • Training the partners' sales force;
  • Accompanying partners during their visits to the main architects and interior designers present in the Territory;
  • Responsible to service select Contract Dealers.

  • 360 ° view of a wide variety of traditional, but also new direct and indirect sales channels: developing new business relationships, e.g. with architects, project planning offices and-or direct customers;
  • Follow up on quotes to ensure the customer is serviced and documents the outcome of the proposed solution;
  • Executing sales efforts in a professional manner assuring favourable impression of self and the company;
  • Developing and maintaining sales forecast to enable the company to analyse market conditions;
  • Providing excellent client services & sales results;
  • Maintaining and updating visit report and client contact data base and project list.  

Experience and Education

  • Several years of sales experience and knowledge in the premium furniture retail;
  • Proven Sales history of at least 5-7 years in the premium furniture segment incl. achieving measurable sales goals.

 

Technical and Soft skills:

  • Residence in the German-speaking area of Switzerland;
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • Confident handling of internal user Software such as HRworks, BI, CRM, Member Central, pCon etc;
  • German mother tongue, fluent in English (corporate language),
  • French and Italian nice to have;
  • Excellent communication and sales skills;
  • Self-motivated, self-directional and hands-on mentality;
  • Love and passion for exceptional design and highest quality;
  • Organizational & problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize work;
  • Oriented and proactive approach to achieving the goals;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
