Cassina US West Coast Sales Area Manager

Responsibilities:
The Cassina US West Coast Sales Area Manager will be responsible for supporting and developing the Cassina wholesale network and will directly report to the VP of Sales America.
He/She will initiate, develop, build and optimize the presentation and turnover of the Cassina collections: Living, Dining, Sleeping, Outdoor and Pro in a strategical and structural way within the Cassina wholesale network, opening Monobrand Stores and Branded Spaces (shop in shop) as well as managing promotions or other sales activities are important duties.
The appointed candidate will represent Cassina at trade fairs (Salone del Mobile, Orgatec, Neocon, ICFF, etc.) and events.

Main Activities:
  • Daily support to the selected partners of Cassina in the West Coast of the United States, in collaboration with the Customer Service NY and in Italy;
  • Reaching the yearly business plan revenues and profitability targets for his/her Territory;
  • Optimizing Cassina’s geographic presence, opening when possible new partners;
  • Guarantee excellent product displays at the partners showroom, in line with the Visual Merchandising Guidelines issued by Cassina;
  • Introducing new product ranges to existing and new clients;
  • Training the partners’ sales force;
  • Accompanying partners during their visits to the main architects and interior designers present in the Territory;
  • Responsible to service a network of selected Contract Dealers.

Requested profile:
  • Service minded and high level of responsibility to ensure customer loyalty;
  • Commercially strong with a clear focus to achieve targets and identify business opportunities, such as developing new business relationships with dealers, A&D as well as Corporate clients;
  • Cooperative:
    • Exchange and create synergy with the colleagues on hospitality and soft contract projects;
    • Develop and maintain a reliable sales forecast to enable Cassina management to plan all operations professionally;
    • Maintain and update visit reports, client contact database and project list (CRM).

Experience and Education:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and/or Interior Design;
  • Design & Cultural savvy;
  • Several years of sales experience in the high-end furniture industry;
  • Proven Sales history of at least 3-5 years achieving measurable sales goals.

Technical and Soft skills:
  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • English mother tongue, Italian knowledge will be considered a non-essential plus;
  • Excellent communication and sales skills;
  • Self-motivated and self-directional;
  • Love and passion for exceptional design and highest quality;
  • Organizational & problem-solving skills;
  • Availability for intense travelling;
  • Oriented and proactive approach to achieving the goals;
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
